General:
Two distinct projects are documented at this site. The first involved creation of a two-section patio and garden area at the back of the house, replacing a small utility yard and expanding the space. One part of the patio was laid out in small beds and incorporated significant stonework and pea gravel walkways. The second area, paved in flagstone, provided an outdoor living space. The slope bordering both sections was extensively planted. The second project was at the front of the house, where a curved walkway to the street was replaced by one providing straight line access to the front door. There was also some re-landscaping along the front of the house. Images include before and after views of both projects.
Persons associated with the garden include: Lois W. Poinier (garden designer) and David Hall (former owner).
