This accession consists of images from the 2014 Smithsonian Affiliations National Conference. The conference serves as an opportunity for Smithsonian Affiliates to
learn about new programs, exhibits and collections. There are also instructional sessions, hands-on workshops, and behind-the-scenes tours led by Smithsonian and Affiliate
subject experts. Activities documented include the Smithsonian Resource Fair where attendees could meet with liaisons from the Smithsonian museums, programs, and offices;
Congressional Night at the Smithsonian where attendees were given the opportunity to meet with Congressional staff and members of Congress while engaging in educational activities
and visiting the exhibit halls at the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI); the keynote address featuring Smithsonian Secretary G. Wayne Clough, NMAI Director, Kevin
Gover, and Affiliate interviewer Angelica Docog from the University of Texas Institute of Texan Cultures at San Antonio; and sessions, workshops, and tours. Materials include
