Scope and Contents:
This small but rich addition to the Rudy Burckhardt papers dates from 1941-2015. Found here are a curriculum vitae; letters from Joe Brainard, Harold Schimmel, and others; writings including short stories, essays, poems, diaries, and notebooks; one scrapbook dating from World War II containing letters Burckhardt wrote to Edwin Denby; printed announcements and clippings; and one photograph of Burckhardt taken by Yvonne Jacquette. The curriculum vitae, a few letters, and some printed material date from after Burckhardt's death in 1999, and were saved by Jacquette.
