The Greek Garden, designed by William Welles Bosworth, was a central feature at Greystone. It was a bi-level, terraced garden, enclosed by walls with octagonal towers at the corners. The color gardens were located north of the vista and south of the vegetable garden. These space were connected by a series of staircases. The Eagle's Nest was an overlook, constructed of rock, with a view over the property of the Hudson. An elaborate rock garden was also constructed around the tall overlook. In early years, it may have once contained a small greek temple; in later years, a cast stone and ironwork pergolas structure later appeared in this location, and remains there today. One feature at Greystone was a large, floral sundial. Carriage road and sloping lawn above sundial.
