General:
It is not clear how long Macy lived in this house, since he was closely associated with Westchester County, New York, for most of his life. Named "Twin Gables," the house appears to have been subsequently sold by Macy to metallurgist Benjamin Lissberger, whose widow sold it in 1941 to Louis Kaplan. The house has since been demolished.

Vollono, The Five Towns (Charleston, SC: Acadia Publishing, 2010), p. 37, and shows the finished house, including landscaping.
