Arthur to George Washington, on twelve panels, ending with an illustration of an eagle perched on a shield with thirteen stars and stripes mounted on page [3] of the cover. There are two presidential portraits per panel, with the exception of Washington, who has his own separate panel. Beneath each portrait is a facsimile of the president's autograph
