Summary:
Contra-dance instruction manual with dance notation, a description of the dance figures, and music (dance tune without harmony or figured bass) for bass and violin. Title page includes a picture of a man running or dancing near a flying balloon. Possibly a reference to Jacques Alexandre Charles' balloon, "The Globe," which landed at Gonesse, France, August, 27, 1783, and frightened the villagers.
