Page 107 has a ms. pencil note (in Eames's hand?) dated Dec. 8, 1890
The pages are stamped with blue numbers in the upper corner. Some pages have been removed. The remaining pages are numbered 1-2, 35-96, and 99-185 (p. 184-185 are blank)

SCNHRB copy was formerly owned by the Mercantile Library of Philadelphia, according to the bookseller's (Philadelphia Rare Books & Manuscripts Company) description.
SCNHRB copy has an old (the original?) mottled paperboard binding with marbled edges, re-backed with brown leather and a later printed paper spine label. A conservator's report on the condition of the volume (2008?) is on file in the Cullman Library.
