Typed letter signed in black ink on unlined paper. Accompanied by envelope with a 2-cent Washington stamp, cancellations and postmarks (the verso of the envelope is postmarked "New York, N.Y., Sta. J, Dec. 22, 6:30 PM, 1904").
The Wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur, were two American aviators generally credited with inventing and flying the world's first successful airplane.
