Notes:
The 11 autographs handwritten in ink directly on the second sheet of paper were made by persons connected to the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton University, including noted mathematicians and topologists, economists, art historians, and archaeologists
The autographs of Baillie, Dalton, Tierney, and Aikin were excised from various contemporary documents, and mounted together on a sheet of paper which appears to have been detached at some point from a scrapbook (with small patches of dark gray paper in three of the corners on the verso of the sheet)
Collected by Bern Dibner for his Burndy Library in Norwalk, Connecticut, founded in 1941. Donated to the Smithsonian Libraries in 1974 by Dibner DSI
SCDIRB copy 39088019970375 is the gift of Bern Dibner and the Burndy Library
