Summary:
Four paintings are bequeathed to the National Gallery of Art, now the Smithsonian American Art Museum, by the late George H. Story. They arrive at the Gallery in August. There are two Gilbert Stuart portraits (Portrait of John Head, Portrait of "A Lady"), a Eugene Delacroix (Painting, panel), and a Ludwick (Ludolf) Backhuysen ("The Storm").
