Summary:
From l to r: Head of National Geographic Society Melville Bell Grosvenor, Eighth (1964-1984) Smithsonian Secretary S. Dillon Ripley and Secretary of the Interior (1960-1969) Stewart L. Udall. The photo appears to have been taken at the Department of Interior. The bust is of Alexander Graham Bell. Grosvenor is holding a photo of John Wesley Powell on horseback (See Neg. # 2002-10682 in this catalogue.) On the wall is a map of Colorado.
