Summary:
View across the water looking toward the busy oyster piers along the North River, near Barclay Street in Manhattan, with sailing ships docked along the pier. In the background there is the spire of Trinity Church in the center, the two domes of A. B. Mullett's City Hall Park Post Office Building (demolished in 1939) on the left, and the mansard roof of George Post's Western Union Building on the right.
