Summary:
Interior scene depicting two figures engaged in conversation, seated side-by-side in wing chairs, with the back of each chair turned toward the viewer. To the right, a painting on an easel is partially obscured by a folding screen. To the left, two small flower arrangements rest atop a small wooden table placed in front of a folding screen. In the background a large window adorned with partially raised blinds reveals a country landscape, and just above the window, long fabric panels are draped from the ceiling and tacked to the wall on the left side of the window.
