Summary:
Still life depicting a polished wooden tabletop on which rest a Japanese paper covered box, an unfolded Japanese paper fan, a pink floral patterned silk scarf, a knife with a decoratively-painted handle, and a Japanese figurine of a man carrying a large red fish on his back. In the background there is a partially folded Japanese screen depicting herons in a gold and blue landscape.
