Summary:
A battle scene with an allegorical figure of Victory is depicted in a lunette over the entrance to the Armory. Victory is in the forefront wearing a helmet, breastplate, long drapery and carrying a flag. Behind Victory there are soldiers charging with weapons drawn. One soldier lies face down beside Victory's proper right knee. Another soldier on the far right has fallen backwards. The lunette is flanked by two eagles.
