Summary:
A shipyard worker dressed in overalls and a hard hat, stands holding an object out in front of him with both arms. Facing him and reaching out to touch the object is a young boy, dressed in a baseball hat, short-sleeved shirt, and jeans. Behind the shipyard worker on the ground is an actual four-bladed propeller from a navy ship. The propeller's hub contains an image featuring an eagle, an anchor, and an outline of the State of Washington with an inscribed ribbon streaming across it. The image is encircled by an inscription and three stars. One of the propeller blades features an image of a naval shipyard. The entire sculpture rests directly on the ground.
