Summary:
Standing male figure holding a rifle in his proper right arm. His proper left hand rests on his hip. The figure wears a hat tilted up on the proper right side. His shirt sleeves are rolled up and he wears heavy boots with his pants tucked in to them. An oak-leaf design encircles the bottom of the bronze statue. Reliefs of Roman fasces of authority connected by swags of victory laurel adorn the marble base. In addition to two inscription plaques, there is a plaque with a fortress coat-of-arms and another plaque with a eagle coat-of-arms on the base.
