Summary:
A portrait of former Baltimore Mayor Ferdinand Latrobe standing in front of a large arm chair. He is depicted with a long moustache and dressed in a double-breasted overcoat. The sculpture rests on a square granite base which extends from the bottom of a tall granite wall. On the front of the granite base, just below Latrobe there is a raised image of a miniature obelisk monument surrounded by foliage. The top of the granite wall is adorned with a border containing the raised images of two wreaths, one surrounding the date 1893 and one surrounding the date 1875.
