Summary:
Taken from the northwest corner of the James V. Forrestal Building, now occupied by the Department of Energy, looking north-northeast at structures south of the Smithsonian Institution Building, or Castle, to be razed for the placement of a garden. With the Air and Space Building, "Rocket Row" along the west side of the Arts and Industries Building, the South Shed, National Museum of Natural History, and National Gallery of Art in view.
