Presentation of check to NMHT director Brooke Hindle in his office at National Museum of History and Technology, now known as National Museum of American History, from Certain-teed Corporation. Caption from Torch: "The Certain-teed Corporation of Valley Forge, Pa., a leading building materials manufacturer, will sponsor the installation of an authentic 19th-century balloon-frame structure adjacent to the Ipswich House at the Museum of History and Technology to complete the redesigned 'Hall of Everyday Life in America.' Pictured above receiving the grant from Certain-teed are (I. to r.)
