This accession consists of two sections of the Smithsonian Magazine website. It does not include the full website."The Great American History Puzzle," crawled November 21, 2012, was an online contest conceived by puzzle master Ken Jennings that required participants to correctly follow clues, avoid red herrings, and uncover secrets to solve the puzzle. It ran during the month of October 2012. A blog is also included. "Celebrate the Inauguration at the Smithsonian," crawled in two parts on January 21 and 23, 2013, provided information about inauguration-related events, activities, and exhibitions occurring at all of the Smithsonian Institution museums as well as the National Gallery of Art. It also included logistical information for visitors during inaugural weekend. The presidential inauguration occurred on January 21, 2013. Materials are in electronic format.
