This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.
Notes:
This is a real articulated skeleton of a species of carp, Carassius auratus. This species is originally from Asia but has been found throughout Europe. The skeleton is mounted on a wooden base, and the specimen with the mount measures around 24.3 cm x 7.2 cm x 10.5 cm in size.
