Fragments of fossilized clam valves, or half of their external structure, found from a quarry, usually an open pit where rocks, minerals, gravel and more are excavated from the ground. Some fragments still have pieces of matrix attached and one has both valves connected. Around 10 valves have a hole on the top, which is most likely evidence of carnivorous sea creatures' feeding marks. Each measures around 3.5 cm x 3 cm x 1.5 cm in size or less.
