Description:
This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.
Notes:
A square burgundy colored cloth with designs in yellow, brown, and black. The printed cloth is from Indonesia and depicts Gono, an elephant-headed character from Javanese wayang shadow puppet theater. The character is elaborately dressed and holds a knife at his side. The figure is surrounded by a decorative border.
