Description:
This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.
Notes:
These are leaves, flowers, and branches from a tree-of-heaven. The branches are thin and brown, with the leaves and flowers attached. It appears that the length of the branches will have either the green, ovular, tapered leaves or small, yellow flowers. The leaves generally measure around 9 cm, the individual flowers are approximately 1 cm. The mount measures approximately 41 cm x 29 cm. This specimen description was written remotely based on images as part of Amber Kreiensieck's internship in Fall 2021.
