Description:
This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.
Notes:
This is a mounted specimen from a castor bean plant. There is a broken portion of the brown branch and a leaf (with stem) protruding from the branch. The leaf is green and has eight points, with these points evenly spread out across the full circumference of the leaf. The leaf is 23 cm x 26 cm, while the overall mount is approximately 41 cm x 28 cm. This specimen description was written remotely based on images as part of Amber Kreiensieck's internship in Fall 2021.
