Description:

This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.

Notes:

White quartz biface with a triangular blade, straight stem, and straight base. Overall measurements are approximately 4.5 cm long and 1.8 cm at its widest point. One side of the biface is relatively straight from tip to base; one side has a notched stem. Probably used as a projectile point.
