Without locality data and possibly mislabeled (as noted in annotation by Dugand, 1966). White [Rusby] 2175 is cited as a syntype of Triplaris vestita Rusby but this is apparently not type material of that taxon. Syntypes of Triplaris williamsii Rusby (at NY) are Williams 672 (lectotype collection) and White 958.
