CARVED STANDING ALDERWOOD (?) DOLL HAS CARVED NOSE & OPEN MOUTH. BROWS, EYES, & NOSTRILS ARE PAINTED BLACK. HAS GLUED/SEWN ON (?) DARK-BROWN FUR FOR HAIR. WEARS KNEE-LENGTH BROWN FUR PARKA W/ RUFF AT NECK, CUFFS, & BOTTOM HEM, PROBABLY GROUND SQUIRREL FUR. BAND OF CREAM-COLORED CARIBOU SKIN AT BOTTOM HEM. WEARS BROWN LEATHER MITTENS & BROWN FUR KNEE HIGH BOOTS W/ CARIBOU SKIN SOLES. CONDITION: RIP IN RIM, BACK OF HOOD. OBJECT WAS MADE BY ETHEL WASHINGTON (NAPATUKTOO), 1889-1967.
