Collection Date:
Ca. 1873
Notes:
From card: "Floral design in beadwork, lined with cloth."
Accession records indicate that this collection was sent from Rosebud Agency, SD, with the note that it was collected about "60 years ago" (i.e. ca, 1880) by Koerper. However, Rosebud wasn't established until 1889, to manage people moved from Spotted Tail Agency in NW Nebraska – which is where Koerper was 1875-1880. Therefore, Spotted Tail is the probably the original collecting locale.
