The sheet music was published by the Miller Music Corporation in 1929, and was part of the “Miller Art Series.” The song is from a musical play of the same name that was unsuccessful on Broadway, but purchased by MGM to be made into a movie because of the popularity of the music. The movie was made, but never released because of studio dissatisfaction.
