Description:
Cue vol. 14 no. 22, featuring an illustration of a man standing in front of a theater marquee. The top fourth of the front cover is the masthead. The masthead is in a white field with the magazine title in green text that reads, [CUE], on the left. The central illustration is of a man, centrally depicted from the waist up. He is wearing a red tricorn hat, a red cloak, a black coat, and a white cravat. He is holding a black and silver spyglass in his proper left hand and is giving a thumbs-up sign with his proper right hand. In the background, standing under the marquee, are several men wearing suits and Stetson hats, and one man wearing a top hat and monocle. Above the men is a black marquee with the text [Gilbert & Sullivans / “Pinafore”] illustrated in yellow.
