Description:
Baluster jar with broad sloping shoulder, trumpet-shaped neck, flanged mouth, splayed foot and flat base. Three ornamental lugs on shoulder. Potted by coiling on a flat disc base, then by throwing on a wheel.
Clay: grey stoneware.
Glaze: none.
Decoration: two rows of jabbed marks alternate with incised rings on shoulder.
