Abstract:
The 20 black and white photographs document field work completed during the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Kure Atoll, 1964. Photographs have captions on the reverse side that vary in content, including roll number, image number, and description, noting a combination of information about type and sex of rate or details about litter number and number of days or weeks. Subject matter include individual rats usually with ruler to indicate size, rats cleaning a Laysan's remains, evidence of vegetation cut by rats.
