Abstract:
This volume is a catalog of mammal specimens collected on the Marshall and Gilbert Islands trip from 18 October to 18 November 1964 for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. Fields include field number, species, sex, locality, date, personal catalog number, wt., field measurements, and remarks. Field numbers span from 5001 to 5044. Most samples were taken on islands of the Marshall Islands; two samples were taken on islands of the Gilbert Islands [Gilbert Group]. Species include Rattus exalans [Rattus exulans] and Mus musculus. Collectors include RBC and LNH.
