Abstract:
Alexander Wetmore records observations of birds in the vicinity of North Freedom, Wisconsin. The notebook was created when he was 15 years old. Entries are listed by date, entries are journal style, and pages are numbered. Entries include observation notes as well as personal information (interactions with parents, friends, school attendance). Observations of birds are listed by their common names, discuss characteristics of male and female of types, locations where they are seen, behavior and weather.
