The correspondence documents Waldo Schmitt's work during the Smithsonian-Bredin Caribbean Expedition, 1956. Correspondents included Leonard Carmichael, J. Bruce Bredin, Remington Kellogg, and V.E.B. Nicholson. Locations are throughout the Caribbean including Trinidad, Antigua, and St. Croix.
