Description:
Square, molded tile of white clay, the reverse is inscribed: "J. & J.G. Low, Patent Art Tile, Works, Chelsea, Mass. U.S.A. Copyright 1881 by J. & JG Low"
The impressed inscription is set within a double line frame; face of tile is decorated with an all over pattern of daisty-like flowers set between plain, horizontal bands. Glaze is a deep crackle brown.
