Description:
Design for carpet for the auditorium of the International Casino (1530 Broadway, New York, NY). Overall repeating pattern features discrete interlace elements alternating with clusters of oyster-colored dots painted over with light red gouache. These elements appear against deep red ground with subtly textured, swirling and gridded lines in graphite.
