Description:
Album with eight prints of allegorical overdoor paintings by Jacques de Lajoue, originally painted for Michel-François d’Albert d’Ailly, duc de Picquigny, future duc de Chaulnes (1714-1769), whose name is lettered on each plate. The plates are engraved by C.N. Cochin and N. Tardieu. The plates are titled, and signed.
