Description:
Landscape study of Mt. Chimborazo and surrounding terrain at sunset. At upper right, sketchy outline of mountain peak. At center right, Chimborazo bulges above nearby landscape, flanked by clouds on either side The sun begins to dip below the horizon at center left while a darkened cloud hangs above. Lower margin inscribed with color notations and reference legend.
