Description:
Top left: ceiling decoration with panels and bands. Bottom right: panel decoration with grotesque motifs and escutcheon on top; beneath it are dolphins with crossing tails; a bell hands from the tail of another dolphin farther below. Lower left: a vase in the shape of a column base, filled; a standing man and a kneeling woman are shown in the bottom molding; some accounting figures. On verso: fragment of a written tablet pertinent to a chemical system beginning with “Ogio dolce semplice,” ending with “Saponi animali come la Bile / Gelatina animale.”
