Summary:
Wood comments happily on the continuation of the Civil Works Administration (a later name for the Public Works of Art Project) and offers his services to continue as a state head for the project, he also recommends Elizabeth Olds for another position; he discusses some visitors, an article from the Des Moines register on Iowa artists, and the controversy over his painting <em>Daughters of Revolution.</em> <br>Referring to the Baltimore chapter of the DAR who suspect he is a communist, he signs the letter "Grant 'Red' Wood." <br>He also includes a limerick as a postscript.
