The portrait medallion hangs on a wall above a separate plaque which reads: Carnegie Library; building commission; W.H. Holliday, president; Aven Nelson, secretary; Eli Crumrine, treasurer. <br>The medallion itself bears Carnegie's name and the signature "Photo, sculpture, Rockwood, Stahl."
