Black and white photographs and snapshots of France and Italy, presumably taken by James Turnure during one of his visits to Europe to see poet George Santayana. Turnure and Santayana are pictured in a few of the photographs. Also included are writings, presumably by Turnure, about visiting Rome and Sorrento, Italy.
