REEL 3752: Twenty-nine letters to Sidney and Rosalie Berkowitz, Bess' friends, from Bess, concerning his work and theories; a 1950 letter to Bess from Lucy Milton of Willard Gallery concerning the painting, "Black Seascape"; a 1950 letter to Betty Parsons from Bess concerning canvases for the Guggenheim; a 1953 letter to Bess from the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center concerning slides of Bess' work; an essay, "Finally, A Bit of Prophecy"; 3 slides of works of art; and a slide of a small wooden building.
