Biography Note:
Sonja Eisenberg (1926-2017) was a painter and photographer in New York City, New York. Born in Berlin, Germany, Eisenberg moved to the United States as a small child. She married Jack Eisenberg and together they had three children, Ronald, Lynn and Lauren. Eisenberg suffered from chronic illness and began painting later in life, after training as a dancer. She was known for her abstract watercolor paintings.
