Scope and Contents:
These materials include articles and notes on Indian temple art and architecture, plans of cave temples, and iconography in temple sculpture. Photographs by others constitute a large portion of the background materials. Some are dealer photographs of individual sculptures but most are from institutions including the Archaeological Survey of India, the American Institute of Indian Studies and various museums.
