Transkei Men, 1947. One man is sitting on a rock next to a base structure for a homestead. His back is facing the camera. Another man is standing wearing a cap and a large blanket. There are also a couple men that can be partially seen behind the homestead structure sitting in the grass. This takes place after the Sunday morning beer drinking. The men sit separately from the women. Photograph by Constance Stuart Larrabee, 1947.
In 1947, Constance Staurt Larrabee visited the Transkei. She was there researching the housing problems in Southern Africa.
